DENIAL OF GOD Part Ways With Bassist, Seek Replacement
February 18, 2005Danish "black horror metal" band DENIAL OF GOD have parted ways with longtime bass player Isaz due to her "lack of dedication to the band," according to a press release. "The band is now just a two-piece cult consisting of Ustumallagam (vocals) and Azter (guitar).
"We are now looking for new members in the shape of a bass player and a drummer. All interested ghouls should contact us at [email protected] for further discussion.
"We are planning to record our long-awaited 'The Horrors of Satan' album this year along with quite some other 7" EPs etc."
DENIAL OF GOD recently recorded a cover of the W.A.S.P. classic "Hellion" as a two-piece, with Atziluth of VICTIMIZER as a session guest on drums. The song was recorded for the upcoming W.A.S.P. tribute CD, "Shock Rock Hellions - A Tribute to W.A.S.P.", due later in the year on Valhalla Records. "We feel that this version is true to the original all while having some DENIAL OF GOD trademarks," the band write on their web site.
